ICAMT - ICOM International Committee for Architecture and Museum Techniques - is celebrating its 75th anniversary with its 50th Annual Conference
"Encountering Transition - Reshaping Museum Architecture, Exhibition Design, and Techniques in response to Global/local changes",
hosted by the National Museum of Prehistory, Taiwan, in Taitung and Taipei from October 6-10, 2024.
We invite your organisation to participate by sending proposals. The Call for Papers' deadline is MAY 31, 2024, and participation will be Free of Charge
for speakers and attendees.
The main theme will be explored through three sub-themes:
#1 - Cross-Cultural Museum Architecture
#2 - Exhibition Design - tangible, intangible and digital: current tendencies
#3 - Museum Techniques & Sustainability
Participants may contribute through:
· Oral speeches (on-site paper presentations)
· Digital posters
· Short videos
· Highlight sessions (on-site "Ignite Talks", 5 minutes to talk accompanied by 20 slides)
